Ryan Lochte is in negotiations to be the next ‘Bachelor’ for ABC. His asking price? $750,000, according to Radar Online. I have no idea if that’s high or low for the star of ‘The Bachelor.’ Sources say Ryan’s asking price could climb to $1 million, based on interest in the Olympian.
“Ryan’s agents are getting besieged with offers and deals, everything from The Bachelor, his own reality show, and some overseas movies,” a source close to the situation tells us.
“Ryan is acutely aware that he has to attach himself to the right projects and endorsements that won’t do damage to his all American image. As much as he’d like to do it, Ryan does have some reservations about The Bachelor because he wouldn’t have any control on how he is portrayed on the show,” the source adds.
I think it’s smart to have some reservations about ‘The Bachelor.’ After making out with all those women, it’s hard not to look at least a little bit like a cad- LOL. But I don’t blame Ryan for trying to get all the money he can. If they’ll pay him, why not? This is a chance to establish a base of financial security for himself. It’ll be interesting to see what Ryan does!
