Avril Lavigne & Chad Kroeger Celebrate Engagement In Vegas!

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger celebrated their engagement by partying in Las Vegas.

Eyewitnesses said the Canadian couple were “super cuddly and affectionate” as they drank Dom Perignon champagne and Grey Goose vodka in Sin City on Tuesday to celebrate their engagement.

The Nickelback frontman proposed to Avril Lavigne after only six months of dating on August 8.

A wedding date hasn’t been set yet, but it looks like Vodka will definitely be on the drink menu for the celebration.

Chad revealed the 27-year-old singer is a big fan of the liquor, stating, “She can pound the vodka.”

Kroeger, 37, said they had “amazing” chemistry while working on new music together in the studio.

“I knew I was falling for her,” Kroeger admitted. “It was incredibly powerful and something I’ll never forget.”

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger appeared on Canada’s Hello magazine’s cover, with the spunky singer showing off her 14-carat diamond engagement ring.

Lavigne stated that Kroeger, “makes me laugh every day. He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive.”

This will be the first marriage for Chad, but the second for Avril. She was previously married for three years to Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley and split in 2009.
