Helping others fine tune their vocal cords, Justin Bieber has joined “The X Factor" as a celebrity mentor.
The "Boyfriend" singer will work closely with L.A. Reid's group of singers during the judges' house round on the show where the four judges have to choose four contestants to move on the the final 16.
Adding to his busy schedule, Justin filmed scenes for the singing competition series on the rooftop of a Los Angeles building on Monday (August 27) and made sure to wave to fans outside and strike a few silly poses.
Afterwards, the 18-year-old singer sent out a tweet to his real-life mentor L.A. Reid saying, "long day but great day. just like old times! thanks." And then told his fans moments later, "away from twitter all day getting this work in. missed my peoples. #BELIEBERS love you."
