Ron Palillo AKA Horshack Was Gay: Who Knew?
Actor Ron Palillo’s death at age 63 of a heart attack yesterday came as a shock! But even more shocking was to learn the actor was homosexual.
Palillo, who was known as the nerdy class clown Arnold Horshack on “Welcome Back, Kotter”, was found by his longtime partner, Joseph Gramm, who tried to revive the actor. He was pronounced dead at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
It seems Palillo’s sexual orientation was a well-kept secret until his death, although he was known to support the LGBT Center fundraisers.
We realize a person has the right to keep their sexual orientation on the down-low, but that doesn’t happen often if you are a celebrity.
Palillo had a committed gay relationship with retired actor Joseph Gramm for 41 years.
