Season 3 of ‘The Voice’ has only just started, and people are already talking about the fourth season, which will be this winter. There will be some big changes: Usher and Shakira will join ‘The Voice’ as mentors for the fourth season. They will be replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, who will take the upcoming season off to work on music projects. Christina and Cee Lo said in statements:
“By pursuing my first passion of music during the break, I am also able to come back and offer even more to my team on The Voice in the future,” Aguilera said in a statement.
“I will return for season five and will be watching season four,” said Green.
The chairman of NBC entertainment said about the fourth season:
“We are thrilled to welcome Usher and Shakira to The Voice. Doing two back-to-back cycles of this show requires a tremendous amount of time and we are happy to accommodate the commitments made by Christina and Cee Lo.”
Now I’d interested in watching Usher and Shakira as mentors. I’m going to be watching a lot of reality TV competitions this winter!
