The divorce of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz has been finalized, according to TMZ.
According to legal documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, the couple formally ended their union on November 22. TMZ reports that details of the settlement are being kept under wraps. Ashlee and Pete are also believed to have worked out a “secret deal” regarding the division of their other assets and multi-million dollar empire.
A lot of other celebrity couples could take note of the classy way these two have handled things for the sake of their son (and each other)! There were plenty of rumors that were stirring, but they all faded away because Ashlee and Pete chose the high road and didn’t stoop to mud slinging and “tell all” interviews. Kudos to them for keeping it PRIVATE!
