Fans of classic rock, brace thyselves—Neil Young and Crazy Horse are launching an American arena tour in early October that will wind up a few weeks later in early December. A tour schedule has been released, though with some significant gaps between dates—translation: there will likely be even more dates to come.
Ticket prices for the Neil Young and Crazy Horse tour run from $47 to over $250. The tickets go on sale Friday, June 8th.
This will be the band’s first full tour since their 2004 Greendale tour—the longest the band has gone without touring since they formed in 1969. The band will be touring behind their album of folk covers, Americana, which will see its release on Tuesday. The band has also recorded a new album of original material, which is set to be released later this year. Young has noted that “there are lots of instrumentals, lots of excursions…but they’re real songs. It has one that’s 26 minutes long … [the tour] is going to be [songs from] the past, the present and the future.”
