While Jessica Simpson’s pregnancy seemed to go on forever and a day, Kristin Cavallari’s feels like it happened overnight. This weekend Kristen celebrated her baby shower in L.A. and signaled that she is heading towards the end of her pregnancy stint. According to US Weekly, the shower was held in West Hollywood and was co-ed, including guys and gals. “Off to my baby shower. U guys like my dress?!” Kristin tweeted, along with the following pic of her party dress.
Dressed in a black maxi dress and gold bangles and jewels, the mom-to-be glowed. I’ve really felt that pregnancy suits Kristin. Since the beginning she has looked gorgeous with her bump, and in my opinion, she is one of those women that actually maybe looks better pregs.
Kristin Cavallari’s baby shower looked like a mini-Hills reunion. The pregnant 25-year-old — who wore a black maxi dress and several gold bangles — was feted by former MTV costars Stephanie Pratt, 26, Heidi Montag, 25, and Spencer Pratt, 28, at a private residence in West Hollywood, a source tells Us Weekly. “Kristin was glowing and gorgeous. She looked so happy!” a source says of Cavallari, who entertained about 30 guests. “Guys were there, too. It was co-ed.”
Attendees were treated to cupcakes and a three-tier sponge cake by Pink Salt Event Cuisine, in addition to being served cocktails. “It was like a fun party,” the source tells Us. Petals L.A. provided the flowers. Cavallari and her fiance, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Culter, 29, received strollers, car seats, bath toys, blankets and clothes.
The shower looked gorgeous from the pics…. cupcakes, a big blue cake (yes, it’s a boy!) and even massage therapists for the ladies to get some pampering. I seriously can’t believe how quickly this pregnancy seems to have gone. It seems like just a few weeks ago that Kristin and Jay announced that they were expecting their first child. I am sure it doesn’t quite feel like that for Kristin, but it sure does from this end.
We know now that Kristin is having a baby boy but there probably is still a couple more weeks/months before we get to meet the little man. My guess is that she isn’t due until end of June or early July given that they announced the pregnancy in January. Doesn’t it feel like this bump watch flew by??
