E! News has confirmed today that the British beauty, Keira Knightley is engaged to her rocker boyfriend, James Righton, of the British indie rock band, The Klaxons. Keira and James have been together since 2011 after being introduced by a mutual friend and within weeks became inseparable, moving in together. The two rarely attend celebrity events together, preferring to stay out of the limelight, but are reportedly extremely tight, and are now engaged to be married. Congratulations are in order for these two young lovebirds.
Unsurprisingly, there aren’t many details yet since the engagement is still very fresh news and also because Keira is known for being a very private person, choosing to stay out of the media most of the time.
“I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton,” Knightley’s spokeswoman said, declining to give any further details.
E! News broke the story but we don’t know when or how the proposal took place, and subsequently of course there isn’t any indication yet about a possible wedding date. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t hear much more from the 27-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star given how fiercely private she is, but congratulations are certainly in order for Keira and James. She is going to make one very beautiful bride!
