“Hawaii Five-O” Star Alex O’Loughlin Welcomes Second Child

Actor Alex O’Loughlin is a “>second time father after welcoming a baby boy with his girlfriend Malia Jones on Thursday.

The 36-year-old “Hawaii Five-O” actor, who plays the role of Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett, is already father to 15-year old Saxon with a former partner.

Malia is also a second time parent and has a three-year-old son Spike from her relationship with surfer Luke Stedman.

O’Loughlin, the 36-old Australian born actor, is currently working on the third season of his television series.

The actor previously dated actress Holly Valance for four years until they called it quits in 2009.

Alex’s girlfriend Malia is a 35-year-old surfer and model that has appeared in Sports Illustrated magazine and Esquire, as well as in commercials for V05 and Coca-Cola.

Alex and Malia first stepped out publicly as a couple last November. They announced they were expecting a child together in August.

O’Loughlin plays the role of Steve on the CBS show “Hawaii Five-O” and is also known for his role opposite Jennifer Lopez in the film “The Back-up Plan”.

Last March, Alex O’Loughlin entered a rehab treatment facility for help with his prescription drug medication.

The actor had become dependent on the prescription medications after he sustained a shoulder injury. He reportedly kicked his addiction.
