Pink: “Having A Child Is The Best Thing That Could Happen”

Having left a few of her bad habits behind since becoming a mom, singer Pink says that her life these days is almost unrecognizable.

“We have no idea what we did before having Willow,” the ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’ rocker tells People of her home life with her husband Carey Hart. “Having a child is the best thing that could happen.”

A self-described “delinquent” in her younger days, Pink admits that she worried how she’d find inspiration to write new material now that things are a bit more settled.

“Every time I make a new record I’m like, ‘I wonder if I can even sing or if I have anything to say.’ I mean, I’ve been changing diapers and having dinner parties, who does that? I don’t even know who I am!”

It turns out she needn’t have worried, though. Once she put pen to paper it was like “turning on a faucet,” the musical mom reveals, adding, “I’m still nuts, and I’m still angry!”

Pink will be hitting the stage at tonight’s VMAs.
