In her first interview since her very high-profile divorce from Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes says she is trying "to keep it all in perspective."
Katie, 33, told Women's Wear Daily today (September 6), "There are a lot of people with much bigger problems and who are less fortunate."
She said, "I try to keep it all in perspective," adding that she "has a lot of feelings about the press."
The "Romantics" star, who remains single, would not reveal where daughter Suri, six, would going to school in New York City.
"They'll find out in due time," she said.
She said she's coping with being single by keeping busy and trying to do something new every day, without "being afraid to fail."
She told WWD, "Who cares? At least you tried. It's usually the people who haven't tried who are the naysayers."
